Client Rights
It is the obligation and policy of the Campus Alcohol and Drug Information Center (CADIC) to protect the rights of any person who visits the office. When participating in any CADIC service you have the right to:
- Privacy
The right to keep your identity, including personal information, secret
- Confidentiality
The right to protected information disclosed in a relationship of trust
- Autonomy
The right to be treated with the capacity to make responsible and informed decisions
- Fidelity
The right to advocacy and support when needed and reasonable
- Honesty
The right to be treated consistently, fairly, truthfully and with respect
- Veracity
The right to receive current and accurate information, to question the information you receive and to evaluate the services provided
